ACAP is hiring fulltime Early Head Start Teachers for yearround positions at our early childhood education centers in Albany New York. Pay starts at $18.78 per hour; Monday Friday; 35 hours per week Qualifications:Associates degree in early childhood education or related field with at least 15 hours of ECE coursework required. A minimum of 1 year of experience with infant/toddler care in child care daycare or other early childhood education setting is required. A Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with an Infant/Toddler designation and 2 years of experience in infant/toddler care will also be accepted. Valid drivers license is a plus. Bi or Multilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute engaging ageappropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive social emotional and physical development for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old.
Complete child education plans assessments progress notes and other required documentation.
Create and maintain a safe healthy environment ensuring adequate supervision in all activities and compliance with all safety and licensing standards.
Build strong parent/guardianteacher relationships with regular communication and collaboration to ensure every childs growth development and wellbeing are supported both in and out of the classroom.
