About the role

The Product Owner / Analyst reporting to the Head of Transformation is responsible for leading the delivery of products features and small change at Bluestone. Take end to end ownership of a change from understanding the business need documenting the requirements to collaborating with the Tech team on delivery and smoothly landing the change in the business.

This is very much a blended role between Product ownership and Business analysis offering a unique opportunity to gain experience and contribute across the product lifecycle. This role will allow you to influence both the what and the how of our products. It is suited to someone who has an interest in developing a cross functional skill set in an Agile environment whilst gaining a strong foundation for career growth in both Product and Analysis disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Help translate the business roadmap into a feature delivery plan working across multiple domains
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure we deliver the right features
  • Document clear and concise business requirements and brief the Tech team
  • Collaborate with Tech for a smooth delivery of changes and facilitate UAT testing
  • Bring to the role a strong understanding of lending products and process
  • Lead the design of the right solution with simplicity and a digital first approach
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and delight customers
  • Deliver changes to the business establishing clear comms and training plans when required
  • Be a key part of transforming Bluestone into the leading nonbank lender

Your Experience

  • 2 years a Product Owner Business Analyst or Product Manager role working with financial services product features and across multiple tech stacks
  • Bachelors in computer science Business or similar relevant field
  • Experience working with a range of lending products and with a good degree of financial literacy and product knowledge
  • Experience in change or project delivery
  • Indepth knowledge of and experience in using Agile processes and principles
  • Vendor management experience is a bonus
