About the Opportunity:
We are seeking anexperienced Senior Superintendentto oversee the construction ofmidrise woodframe residential projects (up to 8 stories) valued at $100 million plusacrossMetro Vancouver. In this leadership role you will manage all aspects of onsite operations ensuring projects are deliveredon schedule within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is aproactive solutionsdriven leaderwith a deep understanding ofwoodframe construction on concrete parkade. If you thrive in afastpaced collaborative environmentand are looking for the opportunity tolead highprofile projects with a toptier developer this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage onsite construction activitiesfor midrise woodframe residential projects from start to finish.
Develop and executeproject schedules budgets and quality control plans ensuring all milestones are met.
Overseesubcontractor and supplier coordination ensuring efficiency safety and adherence to project specifications.
Ensure strict compliance withBC Building Codes municipal regulations and workplace safety standards.
Conductregular site inspections risk assessments and troubleshootingto address construction challenges proactively.
Fostera strong safety culture onsite ensuring all team members followWorkSafeBCand company safety policies.
Maintainaccurate project documentation including daily logs progress reports and quality assurance records.
Providementorship and leadershipto site teams promoting teamwork and professional development.
Collaborate withproject managers engineers and senior leadershipto drive project success.
What You Bring:
10 years of experiencein multifamily residential construction with at least5 years in a Superintendent role.
Proven track record leadingmidrise woodframe residential projects 4 to 8 stories) valued at $50M $100M from start to finish as the lead.
Strong understanding ofwoodframe construction techniques sequencing and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability tomotivate teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
Deep knowledge of BC Building Codes safety regulations and quality control standards.
Strong problemsolving skills andability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
Proficiency inconstruction management software(Procore Bluebeam MS Project or similar).
