Job Description
What you will accomplish together with us:
Receive inbound material and noninventory purchase orders verify contents and compare with records such as manifests packing slips or invoices to verify accuracy of incoming shipments
Record the receipt of material into company ERP system
Transfer material to incoming quality inspection and/or stock in appropriate warehouse
Organize and maintain stock shelves and warehouse in a clean orderly fashion
Pick inventory and prepare as required for production
Pack and ship outbound product to customers
Accurately prepare appropriate paperwork for domestic and international shipments
Perform daily cycle counts and/or other inventory counts as required
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
Perform all duties to comply with Sartorius and ISO procedures
Participate in department site and companywide initiatives
What will convince us:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
1 year(s) shipping receiving or warehouse experience preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50
Computer and data entry skills required; SAP experience preferred
Knowledge of shipping platforms (UPS FedEx SAP/ERP interface) preferred
Ability to function in a fastpaced high volume multitasking environment
Experience using pallet jack
Strong attention to detail in a warehouse environment
Takes ownership and accepts accountability for work completion and quality
Team player with initiative to improve processes and procedures
Overtime may be required
