Summary
In this role you will function in a critical leadership role on the practice marketing team leading Finance practice marketing with a mission to elevate the brand and services of the firms largest practice groups. You will collaborate closely with practice leadership to enhance awareness of the groups capabilities and success inside and outside the firm. You will identify drive and oversee new business development opportunities and marketing initiatives to achieve the revenue growth objectives of the firm.

Location

This position can sit in our New York Short Hills or Philadelphia offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes gotomarket plans for the Finance practice group that deliver results that support brand strategy and focus on practice priority areas in collaboration with practice group leaders.

  • Manages clientcentric and datadriven integrated marketing and business development campaigns that deliver results against strategic priorities.

  • Leads the implementation of leadingedge marketing tactics across several functional areas of the marketing BD and communications team that include brand digital and social marketing public relations collateral and sales enablement tools and events.

  • Understands key business issues our clients are facing market dynamics and competitive strategies to improve the development of messaging and gotomarket strategies.

  • Writes marketing collateral and business development content leveraging a strong knowledge of practice capabilities and the practices value proposition.

  • Drives an effective strategy for achieving awards and directories recognition that reflect the practice groups capabilities and successes on behalf of clients.

  • Leads the onboarding and integration of key laterals and their client base.

  • Provides leadership to and manages a team of business professionals to include coaching mentoring and professional development. Responsible for providing performance feedback on a regular basis.

  • Assists with planning practice meetings and retreats.

  • Manages the practice marketing budget to align with practice group priorities.

  • Measures and tracks results of marketing programs and reports on ROI.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Desired Skills
Strong writing and presentation skills required. Must have ability to analyze data and use multiple sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations. Must be a selfstarter and leader with accomplished critical thinking skills and a thorough understanding of the value proposition. Must have excellent communication and data analysis skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fastpaced environment.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelors degree in marketing communications business or related field


Preferred Education

  • MBA


Certifications

  • Graduate degree preferred


Minimum Years of Experience

  • 8 years experience in marketing/business development in a professional services environment

  • Prior experience practicing law in a large law firm is a plus

  • Proficiency with MS Office products to include Word/Excel/Power Point

  • Must have experience and ability to plan strategically execute tactically and have a client service focus

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Work Environment

The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and inoffice work the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firms discretion in the future.

The firms expected hiring range for this position is $146352 $193920 per year depending on the candidates geographic market location.

The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidates experience skills educational and professional background and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k).
