As our Podiatrist you will be responsible for prevention diagnoses treatment and rehabilitation of disorders of the feet and lower limbs. This incorporates assessing and reviewing client function safety and independence to participate in life tasks in the community.

Youll also make an impact by:

  • Providing comprehensive and contemporary evidencebased podiatry services to clients in accordance with each clients individual needs barriers and interests in a community setting
  • Actively promoting a wellness and reenablement approach to engage and motivate clients in their goal planning
  • Promoting open and responsive feedback to monitor and evaluate client satisfaction via the Helping Hand client feedback and engagement processes
  • Liaising with other staff in prioritizing services to clients and liaise with care and clinical staff as required

What youll bring

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Podiatry qualification
  • A current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience providing podiatry services to adult clients in in a clinical setting
  • Experience in assessing and evaluating functional needs of clients and supervising staff involved in the provision of podiatry services
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and the ability to be cross culturally sensitive
  • A current CPR/First Aid certificate
  • A valid drivers licence and access to a private motor vehicle
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.

Youll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

  • Experience in the aged care sector
  • Experience in the provision of clinical education or other tertiary provision of education (e.g. tutoring lecturing mentor)
