Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health and Community Services is an Aboriginal community-controlled organization committed to delivering comprehensive culturally safe healthcare services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in the ACT and surrounding regions. We have a great multidisciplinary clinical team including GPs visiting specialists nurses allied health specialists and admin support.

We are seeking a dedicated Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality foot and lower limb care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in a culturally safe and supportive environment.

About the Role:

Provide high level comprehensive podiatry care including assessments wound management treatment planning and prevention of foot-related conditions.

Exercise independent professional judgment in solving problems and managing cases

Work collaboratively with GPs nurses and allied health professionals

Contribute to community health initiatives and chronic disease management

Participate in health promotion activities staff education Medicare billing infection control and quality improvement initiatives

Maintain accurate client records and ensure ethical client-centered care.

You must have the following:

Qualified and registered Podiatrist with AHPRA

Experience or interest in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Commitment to holistic and culturally appropriate healthcare
