Blachford Lake Lodge is an off grid wilderness resort providing luxury wilderness resort features and accommodations to guests from across the globe. We are currently in a phase of upgrading infrastructure and are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced construction manager for an upgrade of our septic and water system for the main lodge and 6 guest cabin accommodations.
What Youll Be Doing:
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience either managing or overseeing construction in northern Canada with harsh winter conditions
Extensive experience planning and executing construction projects
2 years of experience managing a budge and cost control
2 years of experience delegating and overseeing construction team
Professional Designation
Willingness to relocate to Yellowknife or travel on a rotating schedule to the lodge
Specific experience relating to water / waste systems in an off grid scenario is highly valued.
Timing:
Design phase and material requirements to begin ASAP
Project completion target of June 15.
Full time role is a distinct possibility if agreed by both parties on role requirements following project completion.
