Job Description
Maintenance Technician for Local Apartment Community Location: Knoxville TN Salary: $18 per hour Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Job Type: Temp to Hire
Job Description: Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to work in a local apartment community We have a position that might be a perfect fit for you! As a Maintenance Technician youll be responsible for preparing apartments for new residents which includes a variety of tasks such as HVAC maintenance plumbing work painting wall repair carpet maintenance and flooring scheduling for cleaning or replacement. You may also be called upon to assist with other maintenancerelated tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
Apartment Turnover: Prepare apartments for new residents by ensuring they are in excellent condition and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
HVAC Maintenance: Maintain repair and install HVAC systems and experience in this area is a plus.
Plumbing: Perform plumbing tasks as necessary and prior experience in plumbing is also a plus.
Painting and Wall Repair: Handle painting and wall repair tasks to maintain the aesthetics of the apartments.
Carpet and Flooring: Schedule and manage cleaning or replacement of carpets and flooring as needed.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance HVAC plumbing or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at the job site.
