Job Description
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on IEP goals.
- Conduct student assessments using WIAT or WJ to determine needs.
- Write manage and facilitate legally compliant IEPs.
- Support and collaborate with general education teachers and specialists.
- Train and oversee paraeducators.
- Maintain accurate records and data collection for student progress.
- Attend required SPED training and professional development.
- Hold a valid CA Special Education Teaching Credential.
- Experienced in IEP writing and facilitation.
- Skilled in formal assessments including WIAT and WJ and differentiated instruction.
- Proficient in SEIS TouchMath and Sonday curriculum (preferred).
- Have 2 years of schoolbased SPED teaching experience (preferred).
- Live in or near the San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area to allow for a manageable daily commute.
- Hold a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
