Job Description

Your responsibilities
  • Develop and execute simulation models to analyze the performance and behavior of refrigerators focusing on structural integrity thermal performance and fluid dynamics.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including design engineers and product managers to validate product designs and improve functionality through simulation insights.
  • Utilize advanced simulation software (e.g. Ansys Fluent or similar) to perform finite element analysis (FEA) computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and thermal simulations on refrigerator components.
  • Identify and address potential design issues early in the development process proposing innovative solutions to enhance product performance and reliability.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses and optimization studies to ensure designs meet performance targets and comply with industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate simulation results and recommendations to stakeholders supporting datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in simulation and modeling to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
Your profile
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in simulation and modeling preferably in the appliance or automotive industries.
  • Strong proficiency in simulation tools and software (e.g. Ansys Fluent or similar) for performing complex analyses.
  • Solid understanding of physical principles related to mechanics thermodynamics and fluid dynamics as they apply to product design.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret simulation data and translate it into actionable design improvements.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
