Job Description
Tasks
Tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide support for the Data Management System and the implementation of geospatial and nongeospatial databases in a Microsoft SQL Server 2016 environment (create/delete/update/archive databases).
- Provide advice on databases optimisation for ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise geodatabases and nongeospatial databases.
- Optimize databases for optimal performance (ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise geodatabase Microsoft SQL Server 2016.
- Support users in data migration into the Data management System (CWS DMS).
- Properly structure manage and maintain data tables and relationships (Microsoft SQL Server 2016.
- Aid Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to input data into the data structure.
- Document data and data structures through metadata and data management plans.
- Create conceptual logical or physical entityrelational data models as well as data modelling and data architecture (e.g. defining entities data elements creating relationships).
- Provide data management technical support to all programs as required.
- Attend meetings.
- Provide training to employees in order to build up knowledge transfer.
Work Location
Travel and onsite work may be required on an as requested basis.
Requirements
Must have:
- Active secret clearance
- Be NCR cased
