Come help build and strengthen a worldclass product design team to tackle this very tangible incentivesaligned realworld problem. As a Director youll have the opportunity to help lead the charge alongside your Design Leader teammates making what we do rigorous impactful and joyful because well life is short. Your role
- Collaborate closely with your crossfunctional partners: research product engineering analytics marketing to ship and iterate on strategic wellthoughtout surprisingly greattouse products that make real impact for both our customers and business
- Set your team up to succeed: hire and grow the team; raise the bar on culture operations and of design work including product reasoning systems thinking pixel level precision mobile prototyping ability to facilitate conversations with and present to stakeholders stellar teamwork and mentoring
- Strengthen the overall product organizations ability to experiment iterate and learn alongside your product organization lead teammates; develop wellinformed strategic visions of where were headed break up those visions into pragmatic phases to scaffold our way forward
- Influence and evolve creative direction and information architecture alongside your design leader teammates and the VP of Design to weave a seamless symbiotic experience across the disparate areas of our threesided marketplace
- Foster and operationalize a productive inclusive design team culture alongside your design leads teammates ensuring everyone is supported and set up to do their best work and their best teamwork
Your experience
- Youve designed and shipped products especially for mobile platforms that customers love and can systematically clearly articulate what it took to make that happen from highlevel strategy down to pixellevel decisionmaking
- You have plenty of experience navigating complex systems ambiguity experimentation; youre pragmatic flexible and creative in seeking out solutions and paths forward
- You relish using your design skills to bring clarity and simplicity to both process and product and can demonstrate that youve done so effectively in the past
- Youve got a track record of building up and developing happy highperforming teams; you take pride and joy in setting up designers from a wide variety of backgrounds for topnotch performance impeccable vibes and constant learning; you seek innovative ways to flow around any barriers
- Youre humble and kind despite your track record excited to keep learning curious about the workings of a threesided marketplace and everevolving team / product surface area

Compensation range
- $255000$270000
For cash compensation we set standard ranges for allU.S.based rolesbased on function level and geographic location benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
