Whats Next
We are currently hiring for a Laser Welder Technician. This role is crucial for supporting the lab in meeting work orders by welding and soldering wires and fitbands onto orthodontic appliances.
Responsibilities Include:
- Reading and interpreting doctor prescriptions and preferences to fulfill work orders accurately
- Welding and soldering wires and fitbands per prescription specifications
- Cleaning and polishing completed welds/solders before forwarding to the quality check department
- Making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and precision
- Other duties as assigned including occasional administrative tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g. pliers lathes) and welding/soldering tools
- Ability to follow detailed instructions based on job orders and doctor specifications
- Strong attention to detail
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
