Position Summary
This position is a 100 remote work arrangement consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The candidates job responsibilities in the Wu lab include: 1 collecting and cleaning healthrelated data from relational databases online resources and electronic health records; 2 applying statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to predict classify or cluster data to generate information; 3 developing interactive visualization and dashboards to explore the data and demonstrate the patterns; 4 assisting research project and manuscript writing; and 5 supporting lab operations and other adhoc requests. The candidate will also collaborate with other lab members to complete the assigned tasks.

Python and/or R programming Collecting and cleaning data from relational databases and/or online resources Working with electronic health records Statistical modeling and testing Applied machine learning Creating interactive visualization and dashboards
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Analyzing audit logs in electronic health records Collaborating with clinicians on quality improvement or medical education projects Developing web applications Project management Course work in information science or related field.

Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM occasional evenings and weekends
