Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Hourly Rate: From 12.50

Fulltime 40 hours per week

Our client a welcoming and friendly nursery set in a beautifully renovated Victorian building is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their passionate team. The role offers an opportunity to help deliver highquality care and early years education to children aged 3 months to 5 years in a nurturing environment.

The nursery is dedicated to providing a safe stimulating environment with access to a sensory room and soft play area offering exciting activities to enhance the childrens learning every day. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in childrens lives and contribute to a supportive professional team.

What Were Looking For

  • Childcare Qualification: Level 2 in Early Year or equivalent (essential).
  • Experience: Some experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred but not essential.
  • EYFS Knowledge: Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how it supports childrens development.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with children parents and staff.
  • Passion for Care: A caring enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting childrens learning and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Childcare Support: Assist in delivering highquality care and education to children in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Activity Planning: Help plan and implement engaging ageappropriate activities that foster childrens learning and development.
  • Monitoring Progress: Observe and track childrens development providing feedback and reports as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the nursery team to provide consistent and professional care.
  • Building Relationships: Establish positive relationships with children parents and colleagues ensuring clear communication and support.
