Design Technician

In this vital role you will be responsible for delivering civil fiber and aerial designs collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. Your problemsolving abilities and attention to detail will be crucial as you ensure designs meet project specifications. Job Summary:

As a Telecom Design Technician you will ensure the accurate of designs that align with project requirements industry standards and regulatory guidelines. You will work closely with teams and stakeholders providing technical guidance and resolving design challenges. This role requires precision strong analytical skills and effective collaboration to ensure the successful delivery of highquality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Collaboration & : Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure designs meet all project requirements and industry standards ensuring smooth .
• Design ProblemSolving: Review and modify civil fiber and aerial system designs addressing challenges and discrepancies during the planning phase.
• Technical Support: Provide expert guidance and technical support to both office and field teams ensuring accuracy and design quality.
• Design Quality Assurance: Ensure designs are clear easy to understand and adhere to established guidelines and standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to communicate design updates issues and project requirements.
• Project Documentation: Utilize platforms like Sharefile to manage and distribute design plans ensuring accuracy and accessibility for project teams.
• Site Assessments: Conduct site visits to verify design feasibility and ensure alignment with realworld conditions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for design optimization and contribute to process improvements to ensure timely delivery of highquality designs.
• Project Collaboration: Lead or contribute to designrelated projects ensuring successful and alignment with business and project goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications design with expertise in civil fiber and aerial systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook PowerPoint Adobe Acrobat). Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD Bentley MicroStation and OCalc Pro is a plus.
• DetailOriented: Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to manage complex design tasks.
• ProblemSolving: Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve design challenges effectively.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with a commitment to supporting team dynamics and following leadership direction.

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid Work: Flexibility to work inoffice and remotely 2 days inoffice 3 days remote) based on business needs.
