Work Performed:
The PartTime Instructor of Dance will teach courses in support of a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance degree with both performing and education emphases choreograph for faculty concerts supervise student concerts and assist with other program needs.
Necessary Qualifications:
Masters degree and at least 18 hours in content area
Experience teaching ballet modern dance improvisation and choreography.
Preferred Qualifications:
MA in Dance
Experience teaching ballet modern dance improvisation and choreography at the university level.
Experience teaching theory courses online.
Demonstrated ability to teach in other selected areas from: dance history teaching methods partnering (ballet or contemporary) jazz tap musical theatre dance and somatics (prefer certification).
