Position Title:Entertainment Intern (Office Assistant) Rate of Pay:$17.00 per hour Position Purpose: Assists the Entertainment Supervisor by performing a variety of administrative and general office duties in support of the Entertainment Department.This is a temporary seasonal position not to exceed 122 days. Essential Functions: - Assists with administrative aspects of the Entertainment program.
- Develops and maintains a variety of department reports and spreadsheets.
- Collaborates with the Entertainment department to create and manage a successful Community Entertainment program.
- Assists with venue set up prior to the Fair.
- Assists with daily coordination at various venues and stages under the management of the Department.
- May perform other duties as directed requested or assigned.

- Strong computer skills particularly in Google Docs and Sheets and Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.
- Possess good customer service skills.
- Ability to work well with others in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be able to work prior to our annual fair.
- Ability to work outside the normal business day/week as required by events and programs.
- Must have good verbal and written communication.
- Possess good teamwork skills time management and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Must be flexible in order to meet the changing demands of the department.
- Ability to follow rules and processes for consistency.
- Must be friendly helpful and able to effectively handle hectic situations.
- Skilled at successfully handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
Preferences: - Must possess a valid California Drivers License.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures is highly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
- In college or just graduated students who are interested in a career in Entertainment.
- Previous internship and/or work experience in an Entertainment related field.
