We are looking for an Account Manager Fire Protection Service Sales to join our team!
Base: 60k commission structure & bonus
As the Account Manager (AM) you will work alongside your Account Executive (AE) in the assigned territory. As a strategic partner to Operations the AM will onboard and coordinate with Operations to support ongoing new and existing customers. Youll get to lead exploratory conversations and site surveys with potential customers using your skilled business acumen to identify how we could help a business with their fire and life safety needs and successfully position the PSI value proposition. As an expectation you will meet assigned quotas and goals while also ensuring a positive customer experience.
In this role you will:
Prioritize and perform periodic customer business reviews in conjunction with AE and Operations as appropriate and to ensure timely lead response. Initiate contact with customers to gauge satisfaction and communicate any important PSI information.
Be a primary contact and advocate for existing customers within the territory. Act as the primary collaborator with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction standards are maintained.
Maintain territory ITM revenue base by managing account retention and renewal.
Drive upgrade revenue from new product feature adoption and expanded services.
Support all lead generation campaigns executed by the Marketing Department.
As needed generate new clients through researching cold calling and networking within a defined market.
Manage customer revenue building activities and sales opportunity pipeline using the PSI Opportunity Management process in Salesforce.
Work as part of the team to develop strategies for scale and growth and leverage contacts to stay informed of new company developments.
Build collaborative relationships and alliances.
Use various communication techniques to gain cooperation in a negotiation.
Requirements:
4 or more years of progressive proven customer service and account management experience
Bachelors degree preferred; can be substituted with equivalent work experience.
Sales experience in Fire Protection is highly desirable. Other related experience may include sales in HVAC commercial property and office equipment.
Proven sales success including consistent upselling / crossselling and established track record of success developing strong customer relationships
Excellent communication critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to drive a phone conversation
Demonstrates active listening and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other technology required
A firm grasp of how field services business works including sales collaborative problem solving and issue conflict resolution skills
Must be able to travel with occasional offsite meeting and events
Must have a valid drivers license with safe driving record
