Job Description
The ideal candidate relishes working with large volumes of data enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts and is passionate about data and analytics. They are an expert with business intelligence tools and partner with the business to identify strategic opportunities where databacked insights drive value creation.
- Interface with business customers to gather requirements and deliver complete BI solutions.
- Extract transform and load data from various sources using SQL and other programming/scripting languages.
- Create and evolve organizationwide selfservice reporting platforms.
- Manage team deliverables and ensure data accuracy.
- Provide highquality business intelligence and analysis.
- Support stakeholders with data insights query resolution and ad hoc analysis.
- Produce targeted reports and presentations to inform stakeholder decisionmaking.
- Use Power BI for data storytelling and reporting.
- Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis ensuring data integrity and documentation.
- Professional Qualifications/Honours Degree in Statistics Actuarial Science SQL Data Science or related fields.
- 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Excellent leadership organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis data storytelling and presentation creation.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including communication negotiation and influence.
- Experience in reporting data extraction data mining data modeling and predictive modeling.
