Your mission
In this position youre an important member of the Rock Tools management team and youre responsible for accelerating growth by increasing our market share and staying two steps ahead of our competition. With your business acumen entrepreneurial mindset and technical knowledge you and your team build the foundation for a longterm sustainable business.
Your main focus ahead lies in:
- Further strengthening and positioning our product portfolio
- Enabling the highest productivity for our customers
- Pioneering the sustainable mines of the future
- Work crossdivisional to build the best total drilling solutions across SMR
- Driving quality and cost efficiency in collaboration with our global production
- Further build and strengthen the Top Hammer product management team and related capabilities in our Sales Areas
You drive improvements and make things happen taking the lead in enhancing our existing offering staying updated with the market and generating new and strategic business opportunities. You manage and motivate your team of product managers and application specialists to always perform at their best. In addition you collaborate closely with the business line managers in our 14 sales areas across the globe as well as other key stakeholders both within and outside of our global Rock Tools organization (including R&D Production Global Account Managers).
You report to the President of Rock Tools and are located at our Rock Tools head office in Sandviken. Global travel is included as a natural part of your job.
Your profile
Were looking for someone with a masters in business administration or engineering combined with experience from an extensive working career within sales product management or R&D preferably within the mining or construction industries. You have solid leadership skills and a background from managing people and driving change in a diverse and global organization. Your businessminded approach and commercial outlook is of most value to us and this also enables you to be a true role model for our organization and to successfully execute our strategies. This position calls for fluency in English.
As a true enabler you identify opportunities execute plans and build a profitable culture. You have excellent communication skills and with your drive and energy you inspire high performance and create outstanding collaborations across our organization. You also encourage people around you through influential and credible leadership.
