Air Liquide Engineering & Construction builds the Groups production units (mainly air gas separation and hydrogen production units) and provides external customers with efficient sustainable customized technology and process solutions. In this role responsibilities can be split into three main categories which are including the following tasks:
Performance and planning:
Assist the Site Manager in planning and organizing the site infrastructure (site warehouses and laydown areas).
Coordinate with the Procurement expediting and shipping departments for incoming and outgoing material at the site.
Manage the Storage
Issue and receive material to and from subcontractors.
Distribute and follow up on the material specification documentation
Coordinate with Construction Manager discipline superintendents and subcontractor(s) for material handling
Deal and coordinate with foreign and local suppliers.
Identify report upon trace and handle surplus shortage missing and damaged material.
Perform material coverage analyses.
Participate in preinspection meetings.
Plan and conduct inspections and test activities.
Record tests and inspection results.
Conduct surveillance necessary to ensure project quality is effectively controlled and reported.
Governing and coordinating:
Monitor the material handling performance with emphasis on safety quantity quality schedule and budget.
Ensure that the daytoday work of your team and the subcontractor(s) is in compliance with the respective procedures standards and specifications.
Ensure that regular construction review meetings are planned
Provide instructions and guidance to the team on all material handlingrelated issues.
Initiate de/mobilization of site facilities and his site team members in consultation with the Construction Manager.
Reviewing and reporting:
Ensure that during the construction phase the Construction Manager is informed about the current material situation on site
Prepare a weekly and monthly internal material status report.
Report on surplus missing shortage or damaged material using the Field Quality Control procedures.
Participate in regular construction meetings with the client partner(s) and the subcontractor(s) onsite.
Report NonConformities and follow corrective actions.
Review inspection and test packages and certificates.
Review final documentation folders.
Liaise with Clients and any required thirdparty authorities on inspection and testing activities.

Are you a MATCH
Key to your success:
Certified Technician or Bachelors degree.
University degree in Engineering discipline (Civil Mechanical or similar) would be an additional value.
Fluent in English language.
Minimum 3 Years of work related experience primarily in the area of material management in chemicals/oil & gas industry and minimum two years in QA/QC site supervision.
Mobility must be able to travel to field project locations.
Technical experience in the field of QA/QC Management (piping steel structures mechanical).
Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management coworkers clients vendors contractors and other stakeholders.
Welding qualification (IEW or equivalent).
