The Devereux Florida center provides a professional therapeutic environment for children adolescents and adults who face significant emotional behavioral and developmental challenges. Currently hiring for our two metropolitian areas Orlando FL & Viera FL.
As a DCP you will also use your experience and education in Psychology Sociology Education or other related field to:
Actively assist our individuals with their individualized plans for daily living and ensure our individuals are safe healthy and living in a clean environment.
Assist with the planning implementation and documentation of programs designed to meet the social emotional physical and personal needs.
Plan and participate in community outings and schedule/transport our individuals to doctors appointments shopping trips and day programs/schools.
- Be a mentor to other staff and conduct observations and provide feedback for required trainings.
Position Details:
Salary:Starts at $16.98 $20.18 / hour PLUS additional compensation:Shift differential (up to $2.00 / hour). Relevant experience in field (up to $2.00 / hour). Credit for higher education
Shifts: Currently hiring for 2nd 3:00pm to 11:00pm) and 3rd shift 11:00pm 7:00am).Must be able to work weekends. For fulltime you will be required to work Friday Saturday and Sundays. For parttime you will be required to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in the areas of psychology sociology social work education or other related field is required or High School diploma with 12 years of Human Service experience.
- Previous expereince preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological emotional and behavioral disorders complex posttraumatic stress disorder cooccurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Successfully pass preemployment medical screenings which include: Drug Screen Physical and TB Test.
- Valid drivers license Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Must be able to drive a car and a passenger van (which holds up to 15 passengers).
