We are looking for Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team at Translated and contribute to the development of the Lara ecosystem our advanced LLMbased translation system. You will have the opportunity to ensure a seamless responsive and high performance user experience across different aspects of the product: Text Interface Vision and Browser Extension. This is a unique opportunity to join a newly formed team working on the companys fastestgrowing and most strategic project. You will collaborate closely with your respective Backend counterparts playing a key role in shaping the product and driving its success.
What Youll Do
- Deliver highquality code: write and ship frontend code that is effective accessible and highperforming.
- Test Thoroughly: create comprehensive tests to ensure your code is reliable and maintainable.
- Troubleshoot & debug: diagnose issues swiftly and implement robust fixes.
- Collaborate across teams: work closely with designers and backend engineers to build cohesive integrated solutions.
- Stay current: continuously refine your skills by keeping up with current best practices and emerging technologies.
Our Ideal Candidate Has Solid Expertise In
- React: extensive experience building complex and dynamic user interfaces.
- TypeScript: expertise in creating robust typesafe applications.
- CSS: advanced skills in crafting responsive visually appealing layouts.
- Git & GitHub Workflows: proficient in version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Testing Frameworks: handson experience using Vitest or Jest for unit testing.
- EndtoEnd Testing: familiarity with tools like Playwright for comprehensive testing.
- Web API Standards: a very strong understanding of web API standards to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- experience in one or more of the following areas:
- text: expertise in optimizing key features to drive performance and achieve specific KPIs;
- vision: strong knowledge of advanced browser APIs with a focus on implementing multimedia features like camera and video;
- browser Extensions: handson experience developing browser extensions and optimizing web applications for enhanced performance;
- Accountability & responsive: you take ownership of your work ensuring that you meet goals with reliability and proactive communication.
- Passion for excellence: youre dedicated to building highquality accessible and performant applications.

Nice to Have
- Remix: experience with the Remix framework.
- PWA: handson experience building Progressive Web Applications.
- Frontend Monitoring & Performance Tooling: familiarity with tools and techniques for monitoring and optimizing frontend performance.
- Bundling Tools: experience with modern bundlers such as Vite.
This position requires daily inoffice presence so we are unable to accommodate fully remote work. However we value flexibility and offer the opportunity to work up to 48 days remotely per year allowing for a balanced and adaptable work experience.
