Make an impact at Serco
We are seeking an HSE & Wellbeing Professional to champion workplace health safety and environmental (HSE) initiatives at the Adelaide Remand Centre. You will play a critical role in fostering a safe and positive work environment by implementing programs that protect employees and contractors while driving a culture of safety and wellbeing.
As an HSE & Wellbeing Professional youll make a positive impact by:
- Implementing and maintaining HSE programs to ensure a safe workplace
- Coordinating injury management and returntowork programs for employees
- Leading investigations into workplace incidents and implementing corrective actions
- Delivering HSE training and promoting a proactive safety culture
- Conducting audits risk assessments and compliance checks
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance workplace safety

To be successful in this role youll have:
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Strong e xperience in workplace health safety and environmental roles preferably in a multidisciplinary setting
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment compliance and injury management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- RTW (Return to Work) qualification and Collect Specimens for of Abuse Testing certification
