Purpose of Position:Review Group applications by the Carriers guidelines and submit by the applicable deadlines. Follow up with Broker or Sales Office for pending items.The position requires mandatory overtime during months of heavy volume.
Essential Functions:
- Provide Best in Class Service to internal and external customers
- Subject matter expert. Review and test underwriting system changes before they are implemented
- Exceed monthly underwriting metrics by maintaining a minimum quality score of 90
- Review and complete California and Nevada cases with accuracy in a fastpaced environment
- Attention to detail and prioritization in a fastpaced environment
- Enter case into carriers online system if applicable or excel spreadsheet
- Meet turn time requirements on each case and the processing of pending items
- Assist Underwriting Leadership with PreSale Questions or projects as needed
- Provide excellent Customer Service to internal and external customers
- Onsite or remote regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job
- Performs other business tasks or functions as assigned

Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
College preferred or equivalent work experience
Health Insurance knowledge is helpful
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasional standing and walking. Must have adequate hearing for phone work. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
