Booking Holdings Inc. (BHI) seeks an energetic wellorganized and proactive Legal Operations Senior Manager to lead our global legal operations function at BHI and to collaborate and coordinate with the legal operations functions across our subsidiary brand legal teams. The Legal Operations Senior Manager will oversee a wide variety of areas including but not limited to: budget control billing/vendor management AI and legal tech and tooling contract management and administration knowledge management and litigation support.
The Legal Operations Senior Manager must be flexible in adapting to changing priorities and business needs as well as working crossculturally across borders and time zones. The right candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively in a global fastpaced and growthminded environment. This role is key to BHIs global legal department requiring a strong leader to collaborate with corporate and brand stakeholders support the legal function and drive lasting efficiencies.
In this role you will get to:
Leadership & Development: Lead the global legal operations function collaborating with brand legal privacy and compliance teams. Drive learning initiatives for the Global Legal Team including CLEs training sessions summits and speaker events in coordination with subsidiary brands.
Process Improvement: Find opportunities to improve processes learn about and share best practices develop playbooks create training and improve efficiencies for the BHI and global Legal team. Work with Centers of Excellence in Romania and India to explore the efficient use of teams there.
Technology: Remain up to date on legal operations industry trends and implement and handle technology solutions to optimize legal performance across various disciplines such as contracts and matter management tools budget matter and vendor tracking software. Work closely with company technology leaders to understand how to implement systems for the legal department best.
Budget management: Organize the legal department budget including the annual planning cycle and other reports as needed. Explore efficiencies with brand legal ops teams around budgeting.
Legal Vendor & Contracts Management: Oversee expense control vendor relations and compliance with billing guidelines while managing vendor onboarding Legal Tracker and engagement letters. Supervise the contract management team to streamline contract tracking recordkeeping and database management (Conga). Collaborate with brand legal and technology teams to enhance efficiencies and technological capabilities.
Project Management Reporting & Analytics: Support the BHI Legal Team by managing organization storage and timelines for ongoing matters ensuring the team stays on track. Develop and implement metrics and benchmarking to measure and report on team performance and oversee the creation of regular performance reports using legal team tools.
What you have:
A bachelors degree is required along with 8 years of experience in corporate operations. Inhouse Legal operations or legal experience within a technology company is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in standardizing legal processes and administering contract budget management and legal matter management systems.
High level of experience managing various legal administrative tasks with ease.
Strong PowerPoint Gsuite and Excel skills
Prior experience with relevant legal project management and operational tools (ideally including Conga & Legal Tracker but not required).
Prior experience in stakeholders as a people management particularly within high volume contracting environments.
Prior experience working directly with key partners throughout an organization including senior leadership commercial sales & marketing customer service and HR.
Ability to read understand and review legal invoices.
Demonstrates good judgment high integrity and strong communication skills; possesses stellar organizational abilities proactivity and followthrough to execute tasks effectively; thrives under pressure.
A strong multitasker. The ability to effectively work across various time zones and balance challenging demands is critical.

There are a variety of jobrelated factors that go into determining a salary range including but not limited to external market benchmark data geographic location and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYCmetro area is $166500$203500.
