Position Responsibilities:
- Must be able to perform job safely.
- Must be capable of ensuring quality work.
- Read blueprints measure parts using measurement tools and equipment.
- Uses applicable measuring devices and tools for the area and process (calipers micrometers indicators gages weigh scales etc.
- Perform tool changes and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.
- Must possess strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work at a high pace.
- Must be able to work in an environment of oil coolant and chips.
- Able to maintain housekeeping and keep things organized.
- Lifting required.
- Basic math and reading skills are required.
- Understands and practices Quality System Requirements and Documentation (i.e. applicable inspection verification and disposition procedures and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process).
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.
