Job Description
- Supporting the Catholic educational mission of the school
- Integrating formation in Christian discipleship and virtue into athletics
- Establishing and maintaining a positive class school and team environment
- Helping students develop their athletic skills knowledge of and participation in sports in ageappropriate ways
- Finding and overseeing coaches managing scheduling of practices games and related events overseeing home events and athletic facilities
- Collaborating with other Athletic Directors in our athletic association
- Helping manage the Athletics & PE budget and developing the programs
- Maintaining excellent communication with parents
- Maintaining equipment in good condition
- Bringing a spirit of fun and good sportsmanship and a rightordered joy in athletics and team sports
- Working closely with the principal to carry forward the mission of the school
- Providing attentive supervision of students
- Collaborating positively and supportively with school administration faculty staff and parents to maximize students growth
- Responsibly complying with deadlines and expectations as communicated by the principal
- Attending faculty meetings professional development training and other school events as required
- Taking responsibility for planning and assisting with some school activity/activities
- Taking on some additional responsibilities to make the position fulltime; possibilities include teaching a Middle School core class organizing student activities or other possibilities.

- Passion for creating and nurturing a Catholic culture in athletics and throughout the school according to the mission of Spiritus Sanctus Academy
- Knowledge of and experience in physical education instruction and athletics
- Experience working well with children and young people
- Strong interpersonal communication organizational and class management skills
- Joy in teaching and interacting with young people
- Bachelors degree; teaching degree with PE endorsement preferred
- Completion of Protecting Gods Children/VIRTUS safe environment training and a background check
