ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking an energetic responsible intern with an interest in Event Management to join our organization for the Summer of 2025. The Events Intern will assist the Events Department who oversees daytoday event management for corporate and venue growth and goals of The h.wood Group. You will be expected to learn the insandouts of the companys daily procedures and event planning while gaining valuable insight to further your interest in your chosen career field. RESPONSIBILTIES: - Managing calendars and scheduling of meetings for the department
- Assist Events team with daytoday operations and event planning
- Assist with vendor outreach answer incoming emails and calls regarding events
- Assist with projects in the areas of event development and sponsorships
- Business and personal errands as instructed
- Help to review proposals for future events
- Research relevant information for potential clients buyouts and events
- Manage operational databases by inputting information data and records
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: - Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college with a focus in Hospitality Event Management or related courses to receive credit
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Powerpoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Selfdirected and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
