Position Purpose:TheSr. Test Technicianhas the responsibility for supporting test engineering tasks associated with the development qualification and acceptance testing efforts of spacecraft systems/electronics. This technician would be working in a team environment sometimes with remote team members engaging in test and support of flight and nonflight spacecraft electronics. The Test Technician will be expected to execute tests using aerospace standard approaches.

(Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Responsibilities:
Work in a fastpaced team environment
Assist test engineers with integration and test of spacecraft systems/electronics and/or ground support equipment
Execute test procedures
May include personnel management responsibilities
Use test and measurement equipment to test and troubleshoot hardware
Document nonconformances and/or test errors as they occur during of tests
Maintain required test engineering logs and records
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department the Strategic Business Units Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment
Other responsibilities as assigned
May include test support on nights or weekends
Required Qualifications:
Experience performing board and/or subsystem level handling and testing of electronics and hardware
Experience with executing manual and/or automated test procedures
Ability to work independently with some direction and to be a selfstarter
Experience with spacecraft level system and/or electronics integration and test
Great initiative with troubleshooting and problemsolving
Confidence in a lab environment
Experience with test instrumentation/test rack design
712 years of experience in Aerospace or Electronics Test or related field
Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education

Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers scanners filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
