Job Description
US Heart and Vascular is in search of a full time Dual Sonographer to join our team at Heartplace in Plano TX. The sonographer is responsible for performing echocardiography and vascular studies and related tests as ordered by the physician in accordance with acceptable medical practices and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs 2D Echo and Doppler studies.
- Performs Stress Echo studies.
- Responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations
- Follows all OSHA and other safety guidelines.
- Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.
- Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.
- Actively demonstrates teamwork.
- Always adheres to company safety standards.
- Attends work in accordance with the attendance management policy.
- Completes education requirements timely as set by the Company.
- Duties responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- May be required to move between locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience preferred but not required.
- New grads are encouraged to apply. Dual certification (or willing to obtain) is required for new grads.
- Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography (ARDMS or CCI) is required.
- Registry in Echo and Vascular sonography is desired. We will consider a Vascular sonographer who is willing to be trained in Echo.
