$31.54 $37.38 hourly with license

JOB SUMMARY
Become an integral part of our high caliber trades team who is responsible for the care and maintenance of our citys facilities. We offer a regular weekday schedule and no travel along with competitive pay and great benefits.
As a Facilities Plumber you will install maintain and repair basic and complex water sewer gas condensate fire protection and other plumbing installations within a wide variety of City building and facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED certification and must be a journeyman plumber certified by the state of South Dakota and the City of Sioux Falls; or any such combination of education experience and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Possession of valid City and State Plumbing Contractors Licenses is mandatory for the C42 level position.
Possession of a valid drivers license prior to hire is required.

The City participates in the South Dakota Retirement System. Employees receive a 6 match. Additionally employees may choose to enroll in a Deferred Compensation Plan.

11 paid holidays and 2 personal leave days each calendar year.
New employees are granted 40 hours of vacation at time of hire and accrue an additional 2 weeks in their first year.
Sick leave accrues over 96 hours per year.
