Job Description
The Arvato eCommerce team is looking for an additional software development engineer to join a growing agile software development team building eCommerce and other fulfillment integrated solutions for some of our biggest clients within the HighTech industry. With your team maintain and enhance existing solutions based on business requirements to meet project delivery timelines. With the extended team you will also participate in helping reduce support efforts using application telemetry tools like Microsoft Application Insights proactively. You will also be helping with configuration and improvement of our continuous integration and delivery pipeline for our solutions. Along with implementation you will also be instrumental in solution design system optimization and will have support to influence the teams technology decisions for future solutions.

Key Qualifications:
Proven expert skill building applications with C# .NET Framework 4.7 ASP MVC 5 WebAPI 2
Experience with distributed application design e.g. microservices message queueing distributed cache
Expert knowledge of source control tooling and methodologies (e.g. TFVC and GIT)
Indepth knowledge of authentication and security concerns (e.g. bearertoken authentication)
Strong analysis and debugging skills on both API managed code and client side script
Indepth knowledge of JavaScript and common framework patterns (e.g. MVVM with Knockout.js or other libraries)
Strong knowledge of web application hosting infrastructure (e.g. IIS Azure App Services)
Strong knowledge of RESTful API integration and design
Strong knowledge of TSQL and advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012
Experience with Build and Continuous Integration topics and their application
Strong ability to write technical documentation using markdown for knowledge sharing
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in fundamental Computer Science concepts like abstract data types algorithm analysis
Understanding of factors that influence application performance and scalability
Practical application of Acceptance Test Driven Development and/or DevOps practices
Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies
Desire to work in small to medium teams with both QA and Developers as members
Strength in working collaboratively with near/offshore augmented team members
Experience with .NET Core 2.1 ASP Core and understanding of .NET Standard
Responsive styling concepts and usage of LESS / SASS
Practical experience with Typescript 3
Plusses:
Use of Azure PaaS services to build solutions App Services Functions Logic Apps Azure SQL Message Queues
Handson experience automating the release process from environment setup to build to deploy
Working knowledge of a UI component framework like React Vue.js
Working knowledge of SOAP web service integration with WCF
Strong knowledge of structured data with XML XSD JSON
