Position: Electrical Engineer/ Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: St. Louis MO

This company has an inhouse team of architects engineers interior designers and construction managers who know their roles and come together as a team to complete every highquality project. They are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their St. Louis team.

You Have:
- 4year bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited university.
- 10 years of progressive experience in a similar position.
- Professional engineer with the ability to obtain PE registration in multiple states.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems including power lighting and ancillary equipment sizing and layout.
- Extensive experience in construction document preparation and field observation.
- Proficiency in architectural and engineering designs concepts and terminology including relevant building codes and mechanical/plumbing standards (IBC NEC NFPA).
- Knowledge of the workings of AutoCAD and Revit. Working knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Bluebeam Studio including material/dimensional takeoffs markup creation and ability to adhere to quality control procedure standards.
- Proficient with all aspects of MS Office.
- Proficient with electrical software including SKM Lumen Designer and ETAP (or similar).
- Knowledge of building codes energy analysis rebates and jurisdictional processes. Technically fluent with overall experience in applying to normal project conditions.
- Skilled in leadership organization business writing and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently multitask be a collaborator possess a cando attitude and be a selfstarter.
You Will:
- Be involved in all phases of the electrical design process including schematic design design development construction documents and construction administration.
- Assist in the development review and approval of construction documents including goals and objectives design schedules risk management and construction coordination.
- Assist in the development and preparation of engineering documents specifications and calculations.
- Assists in the development of new engineering standards and maintains and improves existing standards and guidelines implementing industry and company best practices.
- Maintains and fosters contacts with consultants subcontractors vendors and materials suppliers.
- Directs mentors coaches and collaborates directly with junior staff designers and technicians.
- Interacts closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met.
- Interprets drawings specifications and documents related to engineering and construction
- Participates in team meetings and conference calls.
- Assists with all aspects of construction administration including project assignments review of shop drawings and submittals quality control and site visits.
- Helps to evaluate new products and systems energy savings strategies and cost saving initiatives.
- Additional duties as required.
