Were passionate about making change on big issues such as equal pay for all women paid leave for working families and access to affordable health care that includes abortion and reproductive care. We advocate for policy change in the public and private sector at the federal state and local levels and through close collaboration with allies and partners on the Hill and across the country.
We are seeking a Director of Congressional Relations Health Justice to join our Congressional Relations and Social Impact team.

The Director of Congressional Relations Health Justice is based in Washington DC and reports to the Vice President of Congressional Relations and Social Impact.
Position Overview:
The Director of Congressional Relations Health Justice is the first point of contact for congressional offices for health system transformation maternal health and health coverage and equity issues. The Director provides creative thought leadership and strategy on building and growing key relationships while working with coalition partners business partners and other external stakeholders to identify opportunities to strengthen advocacy campaigns. The Director collaborates with colleagues across the
National Partnerships core programs to draw connections across issue areas and promote our crossissue brand in congressional relations and other partnerships. This position covers a large portfolio and requires extensive health policy legal analysis and government relations experience.

The National Partnership recognizes a staff bargaining unit National Partnership United affiliated with the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union/IFPTE Local 70 a union for nonprofit workers. This position is included in the NP United bargaining unit. Specific employment terms are subject to collective bargaining.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $130650 $156183 with the exact salary determined by years of relevant experience in alignment with NPWFs compensation setting criteria.

The Director of Congressional Relations Health Justice is a fulltime position based in our Washington DC office. The National Partnership maintains a hybrid work environment where staff are required to be in the office a minimum of 4 days per month with additional inoffice and inperson days determined by your role and job responsibilities.

The National Partnership is a 50 person staff that fosters a collaborative culture. We have a collegial work environment. The National Partnership is committed to protecting our employees and our communities from COVID19. Up to date means a person has received all recommended COVID19 vaccines including any booster dose(s) when eligible. New employees must be fully vaccinated before their start date and uptodate as soon as eligible unless an exemption due to a medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief or practice is granted.
