Duties:
- Greet and interact with clients in a friendly professional and efficient manner.
- Answer incoming calls on a multiline phone system and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Schedule patient appointments in accordance with hospital scheduling guidelines
- Obtain medical and other information from referring veterinarians when needed!
- Receive deposits and payments and explain payment options to clients.
- Keep the cash drawer balanced and the daily report up to date.
- Enter client communication into Cornerstone Software
- Communicate efficiently with staff members to organize case flow.
- Perform cleaning duties of the lobby reception area restroom and parking lot.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time and walk intermittently
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists hands and/or fingers
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation
- The ability to communicate clearly and listen to information through speaking and spoken words
- The ability to communicate information in writing and understand information presented in writing
