Job Description
My client is one of the largest multistrategy hedge funds in the world with a growing centralized Machine Learning and AI division.
They are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join the team that owns AI within the fund.
If you are looking for a role that is equal parts communication engineering and AI/Machine Learning then this is the opportunity for you.
Requirements
Ability to work with stakeholders and communicate needs across groups.
Strong AI/Machine Learning exposure to the newest advancements such as large language models and/or deep learning (NLP vision speech signal processing scientific computing).
Excellent engineering skills including MLOps and/or Machine Learning Engineering.
PhD or Masters in a related field.
Compensation
$500000 $850000 Total Compensation depending on level of experience.

Whats the Job
As an AI/ML Engineer in their fastgrowing AI group you will be part of a group that owns AI and all of the related products across the fund. Your AI work will be used to create trading strategies and insights to power their quantitative research and trading.
They are looking for someone with excellent communication and project management skills to help also oversee product development around their AI. You should have experience building projects handson while also working with and communicating with stakeholders.
Location
This role requires you to work out of their New York City office five days a week. They do cover relocation expenses if you are looking to move.
