SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Experience and track record in membership development or sales preferably in healthcare
Basic knowledge of US healthcare delivery
Strong project management skills; ability to take initiative exercise independent judgment and take tasks from start to finish.
Ability to be flexible and handle multiple tasks under pressure in a busy notforprofit office.
Strong organizational skills; detailoriented and efficient.
Strong commitment to high quality work customer service and high productivity.
Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills:Uses sensitivity good judgment relationshipbuilding skills and overall standards of excellence when communicating with fellow staff Board members Schwartz Center members and other stakeholders.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Excellent computer skills including firm knowledge of MS Word Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Internetbased research.Experience with CRM software preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team.
EDUCATION:
BA/BS degree required

5 7 years relevant experience

May be responsible for managing an intern
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY (if applicable):
No direct fiscal responsibility.Responsible for generating membership prospects as described above
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work primarily performed during business hours in Schwartz Center office.Offsite meetings required periodically mostly during business hours.Occasional travel may be required
The Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare is the only national nonprofit dedicated to nurturing patientcaregiver relationships to strengthen the human connection at the heart of healthcare. The Center provides education training and support for caregivers by creating and implementing its own programs. The flagship program is Schwartz Center Rounds a multidisciplinary forum where caregivers discuss challenging emotional and social issues that arise in patient care. The program is now offered in more than 375 sites in the US and Canada and 125 sites in the UK and continues to spread.
The Membership Development Manager is responsible for managing the implementation of the plan for growth of Schwartz Center membership and be accountable for achieving membership goals. The position reports to the Director of Business Development and Operations.
