Responsibilities

• Ontime delivery and pick up of packages to a variety of locations around Melbourne and surrounds Metro and on occasions regional runs.
• Loading and unloading freight
• Ensuring all freight collected is labelled correctly and handed over to dispatch for nightly lodgment
• Collection and verification of the completeness and correctness of the consignment note and associated paperwork
• Ensure GPS tagging is complete each day

About you

• Experience in a similar role with similar demands will be highly regarded
• HR license
• Forklift license preferable
• PDA/Scanner experience will also be regarded
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work unsupervised
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong geographical knowledge of Melbourne and the surrounds
• A positive attitude and a drive to succeed
