Your Role Includes
- Reviewing and stamping mechanical projects of all complexities and sizes
- Directing design strategies and concepts on complex projects
- Providing technical expertise within the mechanical team
- Leading audits feasibility assessments and investigations and writing corresponding reports
- Mentoring intermediate and juniorlevel engineers and designers
- Troubleshooting construction issues and collaborating on solutions
- Communicating with clients contractors and sales reps preparing project documentation and coordinating with other engineering disciplines
- Conducting site visits reviews and construction phase services
What You Bring to the Team
- Design experience with central plant systems including hot water steam and chilled water systems
- Significant exposure to DDC control systems including writing sequences of operations specifications and troubleshooting onsite control issues
- Extensive knowledge of codes and standards including OBC ASHRAE CSA and ASPE standards
- Design experience across multiple industries including commercial industrial educational multiunit residential healthcare and government
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving
- The ability to organize multitask and work well under deadlines
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share ideas
- A track record of sound judgment and decisionmaking
Your Background & Qualifications
- Professional engineering license in Ontario with 10 years of design experience in the building construction industry and at least 5 years in Canada
- Extensive design experience in multiunit residential projects
- An effective communicator who thrives in a team setting
- Strong technical skills with a focus on delivering highquality work
- A desire to contribute to a collaborative and professional environment
