Job Description
smartdept. inc. is searching for a Freelance PR Specialist for a luxury travel client located in Denver CO. The ideal candidate will come with 5 years of experience in public relations. This is a parttime fully remote projectbased opportunity requiring 510 hours per week with the possibility of ongoing collaboration. Compensation for this position is expected to be $25$35/hour depending on experience level and fit.
What Youll Do:
- Secure media placements in relevant publications to elevate brand visibility.
- Pitch and coordinate interviews guest articles and podcast appearances.
- Develop and execute PR strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists influencers and podcast hosts.
- Create press releases pitches and other media materials to effectively communicate the brands story.
What Youll Need:
- Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications Marketing or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in public relations preferably in the travel luxury or lifestyle sectors
NicetoHave Skills:
- Strong media contacts and a proven track record of securing placements.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Creative and proactive approach to identifying PR opportunities.
- Experience with digital PR tools and platforms.
