- Staff management
- Stock management
- Opening and closing of the kitchen
- Health Safety and hygiene standards
- Training mentoring and upskilling of junior staff
- Running the pass and coordinating service
- General administration (stock takes / procurement)
- In the absence of the head chef oversight of the kitchen
- Culinary diploma
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate
- Own reliable vehicle is Advantageous
