Quantum computing holds the promise of humanitys mastery over the natural world but only if we can build a real quantum computer. PsiQuantum is on a mission to build the first real useful quantum computers capable of delivering the worldchanging applications that the technology has long promised. We know that means we will need to build a system with roughly 1 million qubits that supports fault tolerant error correction within a scalable architecture and a data center footprint.

PsiQuantum has determined the fastest path to delivering a useful quantum computer years earlier than the rest of the industry. Our architecture is based on silicon photonics which gives us the ability to produce our components at Tier1 semiconductor fabs such as GlobalFoundries where we leverage highvolume semiconductor manufacturing processes the same processes that are already producing billions of chips for telecom and consumer electronics applications. We also benefit from the quantum mechanics reality that photons dont feel heat or electromagnetic interference allowing us to take advantage of existing cryogenic cooling systems and industry standard fiber connectivity.

In 2024 PsiQuantum announced two governmentfunded projects to support the buildout of our first Quantum Data Centers and utilityscale quantum computers in Brisbane Australia and Chicago Illinois. Both projects are backed by nations that understand quantum computings potential impact and the need to scale this technology to unlock that potential. And we wont just be building the hardware but also the fault tolerant quantum applications that will provide industrytransforming results.

The position requires you to be onsite in the Brisbane office 23 days a week; Monday being required for onboarding.

Responsibilities:

• Onboarding:
  • Partner with US HR Operations to develop an endtoend onboarding process ensuring new hires are smoothly integrated into the organization.
• Administrative & Data Management:
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries.
  • Maintain employee database in ADP prepare termination letters salary changes promotions employment verification etc.
• Payroll Time & Attendance:
  • Manage payroll data input partner with Finance and thirdparty vendors to resolve payrollrelated queries
• Compliance:
  • Track mandatory regional training and ensure timely completion of courses.
  • Stay up to date on HR compliance and legal requirements including labour laws and workplace safety
  • Partner with finance to manage workers compensation insurance compliance and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
• Employee Development:
  • Advise employees and managers on HR policies workplace relations and procedures to foster a positive work environment
  • Partner with Head of HR and Senior HRBP to provide coaching and guidance to managers
  • Assist with annual performance reviews and be main point of contact for trainings and communications to the Australian workforce
• Immigration:
  • Collaborate with the talent acquisition team and immigration specialist to support prompt analysis for candidate assessments and existing employee visas

Experience/Qualifications:

• 8 years working in HR.
• Preferably have worked within a hardware or manufacturing/production organization.
• Solid knowledge of Australian HR laws and regulations.
• Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence and partner with business leaders.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities and adapt to a fluid highgrowth environment.
• Good judgment and ability to make sound decisions independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with a diversity of people in a hightouch personalized manner.
