As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Shine Solutions an AWS Advanced Services Partner you will be a respected expert in DevOps practices and cloud technologies. Your role is pivotal in designing developing deploying and optimising robust cloud solutions tailored to our clients unique needs.
You will be involved in (though not limited to):
Designing implementing and managing scalable and secure AWS Cloud Infrastructure.
Providing expert input into automated provisioning Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) strategies.
Developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build test and deployment processes.
Utilising Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation Terraform and CDK for efficient infrastructure orchestration.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical design documentation.
Developing and executing detailed test plans meticulously identifying and logging issues.
Creating change management procedures and implementation plans carefully considering impacts on existing systems.
Providing support during implementation phases.
Collaborating closely with development teams to integrate DevOps and DevSecOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
You will bring skills and experience such as:
Proven consulting skills and clientfacing experience.
Deep understanding and extensive experience in DevOps roles specifically within AWS environments.
Experience working on cloud migration projects.
Proficiency in core AWS services (e.g. EC2 S3 RDS Lambda DynamoDB).
Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using tools like AWS CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK.
Handson experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Bamboo).
Solid understanding of AWS network configuration and security best practices (VPC Security Groups IAM roles/policies).
Prior knowledge or experience with AWS Landing Zone concepts.
Experience with eventdriven architectures on AWS.
Good understanding of database infrastructure management (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience with serverless architectures on AWS (e.g. Lambda API Gateway).
Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell).
Working knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
Experience with Containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) is desirable.
