The Opportunity:
Red River Coop is recruiting for the position of Bulk Petroleum Truck Driver (Local) in Winnipeg Manitoba.This position will be home every night no longhaul driving. This position reports to the City Bulk Manager.
Essential responsibilities of the position include the following:
- Assist in achieving budgeted litre goals within the Bulk Petroleum department by completing individual deliveries to farm and commercial accounts within the trading area.
- Accurately prepare invoices and truck reports submit to meet required deadlines.
- Maintain a high image standard on trucks at all times.
- Ensure all maintenance is completed on trucks within established guidelines.
- Ensure all certifications and safeties are current on trucks.
- Abide by and maintain certifications with all TDG DOT CPPI Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Maintain all credentials for entry into Shell and Esso terminals.
- Always report to work fit for duty.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently
- Schedule flexibility: Some evenings and Weekends required.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will bring the following skills and competencies:
- Valid Manitoba Class 1F Drivers License with Air Brake Endorsement (Class 3F with Air Brake Endorsement will be considered)
- Verified 150000km and/or 2 years experience
- Dependable and trusted to work in an unsupervised environment
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Possess integrity and a positive attitude
Subject to Criminal Record Check and Driver Abstract review. The successful Candidate will also be subject to preemployment Alcohol and Substance Testing.
