Job Description
Raizan Solutions LLC is hiring for their client as a direct hire. We do not charge candidates.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilledField Service Technicianto join a leading provider inMAP and Rollstock packaging technology. This role requires handson experience inelectromechanical systems pneumatics AC/DC motor control PLCs and VFDs. The position involves extensive travel (up to 80 across North America) to install maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation:Provide technical consultation and installation assistance onsite.
- Startup Support:Prepare for site readiness monitor startup assist and train customers.
- Equipment Maintenance:Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve machine issues including complete rebuilds.
- Technical Expertise:Work with blueprints specifications and technical documents for troubleshooting.
- Customer Training & Support:Educate customers on proper equipment operation.
- Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate service reports repair logs and warranty records.
- Collaboration:Work withengineering project management spare parts and management teamsto resolve escalated issues.
- Health & Safety Compliance:Follow all company and sitespecific safety protocols.
- Equipment Management:Ensure all tools and materials are maintained and in good working order.
- Support Additional Projects:Assist inunit refurbishments parts recommendations and customer service inquiries.
- Overtime & Travel:Ability to work extra hours including weekends if necessary and travel internationally as required.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Associates degreein a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 23 years of handson experiencein a related field.
- Strongelectromechanical knowledge: pneumaticsAC/DC motor control PLCs VFDs.
- Selfmotivated and independentwith strong problemsolving skills.
- Validdrivers license and passportfor travel.
- Proficiency in usingcomputers and smartphonesfor reporting and timekeeping.
- Must maintaincurrent inoculationsas required for fieldwork.
NicetoHave Qualifications:
- Experience in thePackaging Equipment field(preferred but not required).
- Prior experience traveling to customer sites withstrong customer service skills.
