Senior Accountant/ Finance Analyst

Title: Senior Accountant/Finance Analyst
Reporting to: Finance Director

Department: Finance

Salary:

Working pattern: Fulltime or parttime (prorated)

Location: London (hybrid minimum 3 days in the office)

The Role

We are looking for someone who has the passion and ability to help Beryl be better and safer financially and commercially. This role is a pivotal position within our team supporting our financial compliance whilst helping drive commercial growth with insightful reporting and analysis.


The role is based out of our London HQ in a hybrid capacity with a minimum requirement of 3 days in the office.


We are open to flexible working arrangements whether fulltime or parttime. This includes accountants from big 4 and/or global brand experience looking to return to work after parental responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful financial reports and analysis to drive business growth and sustainability initiatives
  • Analyse financial performance identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Evaluate potential opportunities risks and investment projects delivering financial advice to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards tax regulations and internal control policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.


Skills and experience

The ideal candidate should fulfil most of the list below we know that ideal candidates rarely exist so we will consider all applications from people keen on learning to fill in any gaps.

  • At least 2 years experience in commercial and/or financial accounting with clear career progression within the same company.
  • Strong numerical aptitude commercial insight and problemsolving ability
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Firstclass academic background in accounting or finance
  • Passion for continuous professional development (e.g. CIMA ACA or similar)

Ideal Characteristics:

  • Big 4 CA and/or global brand experience
  • A Maths or related degree
  • Demonstrable enthusiasm to develop a strong wellrounded career in both finance and business analysis
