The Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for all students staff and visitors. The Wellness Center promotes health and wellbeing for the University community and this role ensures that the facility is wellmaintained to support these efforts. The Custodian will open and / or close the building depending on shift. Perform building rounds (interior and exterior) and inspections. Provide routine and nonroutine support associated with the daily cleaning in the nonAthletic areas in the Center (offices lobbies restrooms fitness rooms classrooms lounges and outdoor gathering spaces). Typical routine duties include but are not limited to: dusting mopping sweeping wet mopping and vacuuming following health and safety guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces (especially hightouch areas like door handles railings and fitness equipment) sanitizing replenishing supplies removing trash polishing furniture operation of basic mechanical cleaning equipment and filling out simple forms.

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience education and other factors including departmental budget.
